Hi, I am new here and dont really know what i am doing so will you all help me. I really want to loose weight but i know i cant do it on my own. I have pooh to help but i dont see her to often. Thanks Welcome Lena, I know you don't see Pooh much but she is dealing with her mother right now who has breast cancer and will be having surgery soon. First of all, What kind of diet do you plan on going on? Low-Fat?, Low Carb? Also you must drink at least 64 ounce's of water a day plus an extra 8 ounce's for each 25 pound's you want to lose. For example I want to lose about another 90 pounds so I would drink just under 96 ounce's a day. I usually myself drink over a 100 tho. I am doing the low carb Atkin's diet. Which mean's no bread,pasta,sugar, rice and alot of other thing's. I have lost 17 pound's in a month. They say caffeine will also stall a weight loss. So if you or everyone else can cut out the caffeine the better. I was about a 10 cup of coffee drinker a day and I am lucky if I even have 2 a week now. For those of you who are in the U.S. I hear diet rite is good. It is sweetened with splenda. Aspartime is not good. I wish I was able to get some diet rite. I am not sure what you weigh or what you want to weigh so it's hard to guess. Go to www.fitday.com and register there. It will help you keep track of your weight loss, any exercise that you do, and food's that you eat. It will also give you a calorie range. Don't forget we are all here to help in the best capacity that we can. You are the one who has to want this for yourself. We can't do it for you. I finally decided I had to do this for myself and my family. I have Degenerative Disc Disease and Arthritis in my back and hips. And there is a History of Heart Disease in my family on both side's. I hope this post does help you some and like I said we are all here to help.
