On the up side, Welcome to the board and hope to see you on allot. As for advice, well drink lots of water and if you can get rid of the temptations out of the house that is the best, but I know that is hard to do when you have others in the family. Now that my kids are back I can't keep it out and I am so weak at night with the binging. the best thing that worked for me is having popcorn at night and that was all I was allowed and drink lots and lots of water. Find the write diet and stick to it. Another good one is to write down everything you put in your mouth. plus join the weekly weigh in, it keeps you accountable. Glad you are here to join the fight.

Hi there I too am a late night binger... What I found helped a lot was to go to bed earlier. I used to stay up late (12 - 1 am) simply because the kids and hubby would go to bed and it was "my" time. Well it became "My" time to eat! If no one sees you eat you don't gain weight right? LOL So now I go to bed earlier and cut the temptation.. I also have less sweets in the house. If the kids (or hubby) complain give them fruit. I also found that a popsicle (even chocolate ones - not fudgicles) have only about 57 calories so if I have a real sweet craving I have half of one and that usually takes the craving away....And like Pooh said - drink lots of water and DON'T skip any meals.....Good luck we're all just a click away for you!!

Welcome to the board.
Everyone has some sound advice here. I to like to binge late at night.
That has always been my problem. I drink water right up until the time I go to bed so that does help. And I am a night hawk.
I make flax muffin's as I am on the Atkin's diet.. So that is my snack at night if I am hungry.
Try grabbing a piece of fruit, or even a cup or two of popcorn. Anything that is healthy.
Good luck on your success.

For the first couple of weeks I have had to remove all tempting food and make sure that there is grabbable healthy nibbles in the fridge. I am now slowly re-introducing some of the less healthy foods (because if Aaron doesn't have then then he gets snippy).

So sorry to hear about the weight gain Sakura.
YOu can and will do this. Don't get discouraged.
As for Aaron. Why not sit him down and tell him h ow you feel that you would love to get this weight off and to support you j ust a little in this journey.
Sure have his junk if he want's it but why not have it out of the house.. Might be easier.
