Ok so last night we went out for our walk, slightly over 8km. We took our bottle of water, I am not sure how much they hold, but I drank almost 2 full bottles, I would say that it was at least 1L ( ). We were out for barely an hour and a half. Now when I got home I felt like I was going to pass out. Did I just not drink enough water? If I am going to be doing long walks like this, is it time to say drink half water half sports drink such as gatorade? What should I do?! Thanks for your help!!

Hey Hi, I think I can answer this for you..
When it's warm out and we sweat we lose a lot of our water...AND..ELECTROLIKS(sp wrong)..and those need to be replaced...Gatorade is a good way to do that..except it has lots of sugar, which can defeat the idea of walking to lose weight.
So what can you do..drink plenty of water when your on the move..and before you go out to move..take a capsel of minerals. (Potassium, Magnesium, Calsium, Zinc...these will help to replace your electraliks(got to learn to sp that word..lol)
Hope this helps...
