You can do this. I know you can.
I have been having problems staying on the wagon lately. And I know what the problem is........
Not enough planning is the major problem.
Not saying Planning is easy, as I am still learning to do this. But one step at a time.
For me, cheating makes me gain weight, I am carb addictive, and carbs go straight into the scale pointing up.
The other thing I've learned and I find easy to do now.
Is if I do cheat, I don't write it off for the entire day, and eat what I want all day either.
Example I went to mcdonalds the other day, and I was starved, and didn't want another friggin salad, so I ordered a burger without the bun, and a small thing of fries. I didn't allow myself to have it all.
And that night I went out to Smittys for supper, and had an omlet with a side of strawberries,
IN a sense I guess I am allowing my self to cheat, but I've now gotton over the fact I blew it. This is a MAJOR STep for me, as in the past if I blew it just once, the diet was OFF. I suck at failing, and now I don't look at cheating as a failure, but simply a challange to resume good eating habits.
Life is all about choices, and this includes dieting. You choose what you put in your mouth. I made the decision that day to have the fries. Why??? NO d**ned Idea, I was starved and not thinking. But I told myself I wasn't going to pig out either, and stopped myself at the bun. And after went back on the wagon like I didn't even fall off.
I've haven't been faithful to this diet since the end of June, ever since I went to the City. But I haven't been planning either, and this is my down fall. Since the end of june 26th ..... I've lost like 2 or 3 pounds, but if I would of stuck to the plan, I'm sure I would of at least lost 5 - 7 lbs.

I really have to kick myself in the butt to get moving. I still need to work on drinking my water as well. This weekend we were out and about and these girls were selling girl guide cookies, so i had to buy a box because I was a girl guide. My hubby and I finshed the box off last night. I think we each had 3 cookies. But that was all we had in the house for junk food. I had to resort to eating carrots sticks when I felt like snacking.
I know you can do, we are all here behind you!
